🔗Internal linking

One more essential part of the content - internal links. Let's quickly find out why are they important and talk about some best practices for using them.

Internal links enhance user experience and contribute to your client's SEO performance.

They connect different pages of the website, guide readers to relevant content, and help search engines like Google understand the structure and hierarchy of the website.

The approach:

Together with some of our orders (definitely not all of them) you will receive specific anchor texts and corresponding URLs. These are carefully selected to maintain coherence and relevance across the content.

Anchor text is a text part (more often than not - a keyword), on which you should put the given URL (link).

Anchor text looks like this

URL looks like this: https://www.writicle.io/

This is an internal link.

  • Mandatory Inclusion: If you are given an internal link with the order - you must include it in the content.

  • Anchor Text and URL: Use the exact anchor text and URL given. The anchor text is often a relevant keyword or phrase that naturally fits into the content.

  • Placement Guidelines:

    • Relevance is Key: Place the link where it is most relevant in the context of the article. The link should offer additional value or information related to the topic at hand.

    • Seamless Integration: The link should be a natural part of the sentence or paragraph, not appear forced or out of place.

    • Spread Them Out: Distribute internal links evenly throughout the content. Avoid clustering them too close together.

Final note

Effective internal linking is not just about SEO; it's about providing a better browsing experience for the readers 😊
